Terms of Service
Last updated June 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Choreboard, including the Choreboard mobile application, choreboard.com, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Nice Things, LLC ("Nice Things," "we," "us," or "our").
By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who may use Choreboard
You may use the Services only if you can form a binding contract with us and are not barred from using the Services under applicable law. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
If you use Choreboard on behalf of a household, family, organization, or other group, you represent that you have authority to create and manage boards for that group and to invite other participants.
2. Accounts and security
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, devices, and verification codes secure. You are also responsible for activity that occurs through your account or on boards you create or administer.
Please provide accurate information when creating or updating your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us promptly at support@nicethings.com .
3. Boards, chores, reminders, and content
Choreboard lets users create boards, assign chores, track points, add reminders, send invitations, post comments, and react to activity. You are responsible for the chores, names, comments, images, reactions, reminders, and other content you submit or share through the Services.
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, and otherwise process that content as needed to operate, improve, protect, and provide the Services.
Do not submit content that you do not have the right to share, that violates someone else's rights, or that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, deceptive, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services. For example, you may not:
- Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Services or our systems
- Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or degrade the Services
- Reverse engineer, scrape, crawl, or use automated tools against the Services except as permitted by law or by us in writing
- Use the Services to send spam, misleading messages, or unauthorized invitations
- Attempt to bypass security, authentication, rate limits, subscriptions, or access controls
- Use the Services for illegal, harmful, or abusive activity
5. Subscriptions, purchases, and app stores
Some features may require payment or an active subscription. Prices, trial offers, included features, billing periods, and renewal terms are shown at the time of purchase and may change in the future.
Purchases made through the Apple App Store or another app marketplace are handled by that marketplace and are subject to its terms, payment rules, refund policies, and subscription management tools. You can manage or cancel app subscriptions through the marketplace account used to purchase them.
Except where required by law or marketplace policy, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide price protection or refunds for unused time, partial billing periods, downgrades, or unused features.
6. Notifications and communications
The Services may send you service messages, verification codes, reminders, invitations, push notifications, and other communications related to your account or boards. You can control certain notifications in the app or through your device settings.
Standard carrier, message, and data rates may apply to communications sent to your phone number or device.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Services. Please review it at choreboard.com/privacy.
8. Account deletion and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. You may also request account deletion through the app or by contacting support@nicethings.com .
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, remove content, or limit features if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users or the Services, or used the Services in a way that may cause legal or security issues.
After termination or deletion, some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, for legitimate business purposes, to complete transactions, to protect the Services, to resolve disputes, or to enforce these Terms.
9. Ownership of the Services
Nice Things and its licensors own the Services, including the software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other materials we provide. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Services or permission to use our name, logos, or trademarks except as needed to use the Services as intended.
10. Third-party services
The Services may link to, rely on, or integrate with third-party services, app marketplaces, analytics providers, payment processors, messaging providers, or device platforms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms and policies.
11. Changes to the Services or Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of the Services at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by posting the updated Terms or sending an in-app or email notice.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
